7-15-04 See who's coming........

In addition to the Easyrider's streamliner , which current record holder Dave Campos rode to get the record of 322.150 in 1990, we have a number of vintage streamliners and motorcycle that will be on display;

The ‘ Texas Ceegar ', record holder in 1956 will be on display for it's record run anniversary (September 6 th 1956). It is being restored after fire damage when the British National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham, England was partially destroyed. The ‘ Plymoth Monster ' which was attempting land speed records in 1935, combining the power   of a Plymoth   engine and custom made tires from Firestone ($100 each at the time) this motorcycle was riding for the mystical $10,000 award for the first rider to break the 300MPH barrier.

Tenacious II ' Denis Manning's 6th streamliner, the fastest motorcycle to run in Australia. This machine reached 297MPH to be the current record holder Down Under in March of 2000.

The ‘ Tramp III ' the world's fastest single engine conventional Motorcycle in 1991. This recorded an average speed pf 226.148MPH, with the fastest one way pass of 239.492MPH.
