Open to AMA and FIM Entrants. The highest speed for any bike with the highest ratio of speed to CC’s. Calculated by dividing the MPH by the CC
E.g. A 50cc motorcycle at a speed of 150mph (150/50) = 3
A 3000cc motorcycle at a speed of 350mph (350/3000) =.0116                                                   
The motorcycle with the highest number has the highest ratio. The following additional criteria apply:         
The participating vehicle must be either a two-wheeled motorcycle making a single track on the ground, or a motorcycle making only two tracks on the ground
The motorcycle must have its sole source of power, an internal combustion, reciprocating, spark ignition engine of no less than 50cc and must be wheel driven. Engines below 50cc will have the MPH/CC ratio calculated at 50cc. Engines above 50cc will have the MPH/CC ratio calculated at actual displacement. Energy release storage systems are prohibited.
The motorcycle may be pushed to start by the rider or by and assistant, on foot only. TOW STARTING IS PROHIBITED IN THIS PRIZE CATEGORY
No parts may be discarded after beginning motion.
After starting, the motorcycle must run under power, a minimum of one mile of course preceding the first timing light.
Actual displacement will be measured by event officials at Impound. All participants attempting this class must report to Impound directly after the run to either be measured for CC accuracy, or sealed to allow further attempts for later measurement.
Open to AMA and FIM Entrants. The motorcycle production date must be dated prior to 1971 per the following definition from the Antique Motorcycle Club of America: The club defines “antique” as any motorcycle 35 years old or older.
Open to AMA and FIM Entrants. Must meet the regulations set out in the ‘Side Car (SC)” class per the AMA Supplemental Regulations. Sidecar streamliners excluded.
$1,000 Awarded to the female participant who best embodies the spirit of Bonneville- passion, teamwork, skill, and camaraderie, and $1,000 to the person she identifies as her source of encouragement to do so.
Cash awarded to the enthusiast & crew that best embodies the Bonneville spirit.
Open to AMA and FIM Entrants. This category is voted on by entrants. Each Entrant will receive a ballot at registration, which must be submitted before the closing time posted in the registration area. In the event of a tie the award prize will be split equally.
Awarded to the crew with the cleanest pit area

Top Time Definition.

Top times are defined as the motorcycle that reaches the highest average speed over a timed measured mile, and that meets the appropriate category criteria as listed above. All times will be verified by the official event timer's and the event promoters. Prize money winners do not have to break the record to be eligible, as long as they have the highest average speed at the completion of the eligibility period during the event.

Conditions:

  • All Motorcycles must meet as a minimum the regulations set out in Chapters 1 & 2 in the 2007 AMA Supplemental Regulations for Bonneville, and needs to be legal for an AMA or FIM class.
  • All awards/prize money winners must be complete an entry form for the event and be in good standing with the Event Promoters and the AMA. Open to all AMA and FIM Participants that meet the listed criteria.
  • Awards/prize money recipients will be deemed void if they do not meet all criteria and awards/prize money will be presented to the next eligible Participant that meets the applicable criteria.
  • Prize money is awarded for individual events and the amounts awarded, categories available, and the eligibility time period are at the sole discretion of the Event Promoters for each annual event.
  • The AMA and the FIM do not verify award money eligibility.
  • All award money recipients must complete a W-9 form before any prize money will be issued (forms will be available in the registration area).
  • Award monies will be posted to the winning participant no more than ten (10) days following the conclusion of the event, providing the W-9 form has been received by BUB Racing Inc.
  • Participants are eligible for more than one prize money category, as long as the criteria is fulfilled for both categories. Should the same bike run in two different classes/categories (e.g. open and Partially streamlined), times can not be interchanged between classes.
  • All eligibility time period information will be included in pre- entry confirmation, and/or posted at the event in the Event Registration Area.
  • The Event Promoters have created these rules in the best interest of fairness and in the spirit of the competition. The Event Promoters will make the final decision regarding compliance of the rules and in the event of a dispute the Event Promoters’ decision is final.
